Don’t You Ever Think of Americans?

In a hearing about sending humanitarian aid to Georgia after the recent conflict with Russia, Ron Paul had some very good points for his peers in congress. He wondered why we are so quick to send aid to foreign countries when so many people are suffering here. Well said, Dr. Paul!

Georgian forces, trained and equipped by the Pentagon and the U.S. government, killed 10 Russian peacekeepers early this morning in a provocation attack that has escalated into military conflict, but the subsequent corporate media coverage would have us believe that the U.S. and NATO-backed client state Georgia is a helpless victim, when in actual fact a far more nuanced geopolitical strategy is being played out.

We at riseupRochester knew that something big was going to happen today. The date 8.8.08 was just too irresistible for the people in charge not to stage something big. One of our writers suggested that there would be a false-flag terrorist attack, possibly in Chicago. Well, it wasn’t in Chicago, but it was a false-flag attack of sorts and it happened in Georgia, the country.
