Media Blackout: Impeachment of Bush

Why is there a media blackout of Dennis Kucinich’s efforts to bring impeachment charges against Bush? I used to think the so called ‘liberal media’ wanted us out of Iraq, but in the last few weeks it is all too obvious that they want us to forget about how the White House lied to the American people and Congress. If the possibility of impeachment became a reality then the whole political balance would be called into question, jeopardizing the platforms of Obama and McCain. More importantly, however, it would also open up the possibility of those surrounding Bush to be punished. It’s like walking into your kitchen and flicking the light switch: all of the cockroaches run for cover. We would see hundreds people on both sides of the so called ‘political spectrum’ face serious charges. Perjury, murder, war crimes, felonies…the list goes on and on. Eventually the buck would stop at the mainstream media and the world would finally understand the blind eye they turned to all of this corruption. Those who led the cheers for the war in Afghanistan and the war in Iraq would be hung out to dry. This is one story the mainstream media doesn’t want you to find out about.

  1. There’s been “zero” on this in the mainstream media…zero and how tragic is that?

  2. Very, very tragic. We’re talking serious crimes here. You better believe the media will cover some thug in the city stabbing one person, but someone who has authorized illegal use of military action that has resulted in over 1 million dead? Zero coverage.

  3. I’m so sick of people acting like it won’t matter if we impeach Bush.

Willie Nelson said it best–”They impeach Bill Clinton for having sex with some girl, but they won’t actually impeach Bush for serious crimes.”

PS libs have claimed to hate Bush for longest time. Even many Republicans have come around. I think people just like having something to complain about and when the time comes for action they decide they would have nothing to do if something actually got done in this country.

If we impeach Bush, it sends a clear message that the congress is not made of puppets; that the next president better stay in line or he will be out.

Kucinich’s articles have definitely challenged the media–they have an agenda and will do anything it takes to black him out or portray what he is trying to do as meaningless, when he is one of the few out there fighting tyranny.

    Get it together, America.
