Here is a great victory (I think) in our battle to hold on to the internet as we know it, especially the preservation of free speech. Nate Anderson from ars technica did a great job summing up all of the critical points of the discussion. I feel strongly about the despicable state of our corporate mainstream media and I have found this excellent documentary (the first of a two part series) that talks about the link between increasing consolidation of the media and the diminishing diversity of ideas shared to the general public.
