I’m against censorship in every form. It makes me especially angry to see imaginary characters like Count Dracula get censored on Youtube for their views. Enjoy:

This news has not happened recently, but I have been following it and thinking about it. A teacher from Wilson Commencement is under investigation for racist remarks toward her black students. Wendy Kaiser was removed from Wilson, but placed at another high school after the school was made aware of these remarks. Allegedly, Mrs. Kaiser called her students “monkeys,” and sprayed some with water. My comments on this page are a combination of things I have gathered from the comments people made on the D+C website and my own life experiences.
I think this could potentially be true, but we need …

Despite the fact that so many Americans are overweight, it still seems that the obese are a disliked group in the U.S. Just turn on the t.v. and you’ll see some skinny woman who is being diagnosed by Dr. Phil as having an “aversion to fat people.” People love to criticize the overweight and how they are costing everyone money, and how they are an eye-sore, but it is difficult to lose weight. I was just excited that the D+C published an article in today’s paper about 90.5 WBER DJ “Jennifer V.” In the article she talks about life in the world of radio, and how many people she has to thank for her long career at the station, although it has not been without its challenges. Below is a short and fun clip about how Ron Paul support was not measured in a popular Republican phone poll during the primaries. It is followed by a fun clip from Penn & Teller.
Just a clarification note about the Penn & Teller clip. I do not endorse swearing at pollsters, nor do I believe that ALL polls are biased. Exit polls are very reliable and when they differ significantly from the official results then an official inquiry into vote fraud should be initiated immediately.

I am starting a series of short interviews with local artists to get their ideas about the economy and what artists can to to improve the economy locally and in the nation overall. My first interview is with Brandon White, aka Bushido Garvey. Below is the interview:
What do you think are the biggest factors contributing to our economic downfall in the United States?
Horrible decisions of self-interests made by those in power. I, by no means, am an economist, however its very safe to say that those in power (the extremely affluent) have made sure to pool the money, not let it flow through the veins of this country. There were many of these decisions, but one of them is exhorting the middle and lower classes. These people are the largest contributors to the economy, it is extremely unwise to not to cater to them, let alone extort them.
