Jesse Ventura appeared on Fox News and spoke out against the war in Iraq and warned that America is on the brink of fascism.

It is really pathetic watching Hannity try and defend the Iraq war by arguing with Ventura that it isn’t like Vietnam. It is also pathetic how ‘naive’ Sean is. I really feel that he is just playing a role and knows all too well that he is just promoting lies…

It’s not exactly newsworthy when Bush tells a lie, but his one is extraordinary. Nothing new, but if you haven’t seen it before then it is worth watching:
Did the President just have a slip of the toungue? Did he forget what happened on the day? Think about it.

If you don’t know what Blackwater is, then you need to watch this video - it speaks for itself:
Also, not mentioned in this video is the fact that Blackwater isn’t even an American company anymore - it has moved offshore. Don’t forget the tension generated between our soldiers and Blackwater mercenaries because the mercenaries get paid better and won’t be punished for their crimes, meaning they are (more) free to rape, pillage and loot their occupied territory. As evidenced by this video, their occupied territory has even included U.S. soil. Educate yourself about Blackwater and speak out!

After listening to Jesse Ventura’s second appearance on the Howard Stearn show I am encouraged that the awakening may be spreading to his audience as well. I feel that it is of little consequence whether Howard Stern himself comes out in support of the 9/11 Truth Movement, but the fact that he is starting to warm to the views that Jesse seems uniquely qualified to explain is very important. Just the mere opportunity he is giving Jesse to talk about how 9/11 may have been an inside job is reaching untold numbers of listeners that may have never heard someone …

It doesn’t surprise me that the mainstream media in America continually under-represents the true cost of the war in Iraq for the political purposes of those in Washington. But I expect more from the City Newspaper here in Rochester. This newspaper is perceived as independent and its readership is among the more educated in our community. The views in the City and those of its readership also tend to me more ‘liberal’, so it continues to shock me that they are whitewashing this war. Why must they continue to publish these false statistics when it is common knowledge on the …

Why is there a media blackout of Dennis Kucinich’s efforts to bring impeachment charges against Bush? I used to think the so called ‘liberal media’ wanted us out of Iraq, but in the last few weeks it is all too obvious that they want us to forget about how the White House lied to the American people and Congress. If the possibility of impeachment became a reality then the whole political balance would be called into question, jeopardizing the platforms of Obama and McCain. More importantly, however, it would also open up the possibility of those surrounding Bush to be …

The next time I hear someone say that it’s too late to impeach Bush, I’m going to shed a tear for the Republic.
The next time I hear someone practice apologetics for the Bush administration, I’m going to shed a tear for the Republic.
The next time I hear someone say that we just need to vote for ‘the lesser of two evils’, I’m going to shed a tear for the Republic.
The next time I see someone hand over another liberty for safety, I’m going to remind them that those who trade liberty for safety deserve neither liberty nor safety. Then I’m …

Here is a great victory (I think) in our battle to hold on to the internet as we know it, especially the preservation of free speech. Nate Anderson from ars technica did a great job summing up all of the critical points of the discussion. To the FCC commissioners who didn’t agree, do you understand what the internet is and how it works?
Hammer drops at last: FCC opposes Comcast P2P throttling
By Nate Anderson | Published: July 25, 2008 - 09:13PM CT
Once FCC Chair Kevin Martin announced his support for sanctions against Comcast, penalties looked inevitable. The two Democrats on the …

I feel strongly about the despicable state of our corporate mainstream media and I have found this excellent documentary (the first of a two part series) that talks about the link between increasing consolidation of the media and the diminishing diversity of ideas shared to the general public. Look what these high school students have done so far and ask yourself “Could I be doing more?”

One thing that I do want to point out that I disagree with in the clip is the idea of America being a democracy. We are not a democracy, we are a constitutional republic. A …

In the coming weeks I will be intensifying the number and quality of my posts in order to educate people about the looming war with Iran and what we can do to stop it. As an introduction, I thought it would be fitting to point out that, just as in North Korea and Vietnam, we are already at war with Iran, not in overt operations, but in covert operations. This breif video documents this quite effectively. Please spare a few minutes of your time to watch it. Thank you.
I think the most interesting point is that Gates is not necessarily …
