Today the Democrat and Chronicle ran a ‘Friday Faceoff’ between two people, one for medical hemp and one against it. I believe these were both terrible articles because the pro article conceded too much ground and was completely unaware of the history of the plant and the spectrum of uses that the plant offers. Just Google all of the ways the hemp plant was used before it was made illegal in this country. I am also upset because the con article completely misrepresented the dangers of the plant and stigmatized all people who use it. Why are people so ignorant …

Interestingly, NY is among 6 states that have not yet passed legislation permitting the use of Segways on sidewalks or roads. http://www.ghsa.org/html/stateinfo/laws/segway_laws.html

I stumbled upon a neglected video clip of mayor Duffy speaking about how cities are not receiving attention from the current administration or the presidential candidates. Way to go Duffy for raising some key points here.
