A recent NY Times blog presents a website that details the measured radiation from different cellphones (you can search for yours by its manufacturer and model). The web site also ranks the highest and lowest emitting phones. 1.6 w/kg is the highest allowed in the U.S.
The highest was Motorola V95s (below.) The lowest was the LG 6G800. I’ve never heard of either of them.
Other popular examples: LG Chocolate (1.29 or 1.13 depending on model.
Apple iPhone, both 4GB and 8GB (.974 w/kg)
T-Mobile Sidekicks (From .5-.89 w/kg)

The Rochester Music Fest failed. But it makes total sense as to why this happened…
Great Duffster, the City gave 250,000 toward this event which happened the day after the 2 week Jazz Fest. I could’ve predicted this one. Basically thousands and thousands came to the East End to watch free concerts for almost two weeks, and were then faced with the prospect of buying tickets for an overpriced Music Fest.
To be fair, the Jazz Fest did draw in people who would probably never attend the Music Fest (upstate NY tourists, older city crowd, people from the surrounding suburbs, etc.) Still, …

A Tribe Called Quest - Phony Rappers
This is in response to the MySpace article by Andrew, but it relates to the Hip Hop/Rap World. A Tribe Called Quest is focusing on the importance of quality and being honest-not fake. The very end of this video states it perfectly.
“This feeling of embarassment. This shyness, this bashfulness. If you take that out of the people then these people will do what ever they want to do, and that is the very definition of America. A people who have no shame and therefore they do whatever they want to do.” -Anonymous

“Italiani Per Ron Paul”
If you speak Italian, you might be interested in this site. I have limited Italian proficiency but could pick out some stuff. Perhaps Andrew and I could work on translating it. It looks like they haven’t blogged in a while. This blog also provides links to the blogs of other Paul supporters, both in Italian and English. (For example, this one, in Italian, which seems to have recently been updated).
There is also a wiki page in Italian about Ron Paul. Che interessante!

This is an old clip from C-SPAN but it clearly needs to get more attention. It involves the human sex/slave labor trafficking of DynCorp as well as Defense Department failures on 9/11. Notice how the politicians crumble with the introduction of the most simple questions posed by this brave congresswoman. Jason Burmis is right, C-SPAN is truly more entertaining than anything else on cable.

Ask yourself: Who is full of shit here and who is in the know? Would you even need to know anything about these issues prior to viewing the clip to answer the first question?

The political establishment in city after city is putting cameras in and the people are told that it is going to make us all safer. Now it’s Rochester’s turn to get cameras and they want us to buy the same lies. I don’t think that we the people are this gullible. The evidence that this is a farce is in London, UK, where not only have the millions of CCTV cameras not been able to stop a rise in crime, but they are also not able to solve crimes that occur under their watch.
